
Dr. Fred Potter
Dr. Fred Potter was raised in Parker County. After graduating from Weatherford High School, Dr. Potter attended Weatherford College, Baylor and Texas A&M. After completing his undergraduate requirements, he attended the University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio, graduating in 1983. Dr. Potter decided to return to his hometown of Weatherford to practice dentistry, joining the practice of Dr. John Brackeen. He purchased Dr. Brackeen's practice in 1985.
Dr. Potter is an active member of several dental organizations. Locally, he is a member of the Ft. Worth District Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, and an affiliate member of the Southwest Society of Pediactric Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS). In 1989 Dr. Potter completed a Hospital Residency at UT Dental School in San Antonio and has been on staff of Weatherford Regional Hospital since 1990. He is among the 1/2 of 1% of the general dentists in the nation who practice hospital dentistry.
Throughout his career, Dr. Potter has taken great pride in researching and providing the most current and effective dental treatment possible. Dr. Potter offers the latest in sedation techniques,pediatric dentistry, implants, cosmetic dentistry, clear aligner orthodontics, and the most painless and effective treatment for gum disease available. But above all he offers his patients compassion, understanding,and gentleness.
Dr. Potter and his outstanding staff stay current with he latest trends in dentistry by attending numerous continuing education courses, including the Greater Southwest Dental Conference in Dallas.
Dr. Potter lives in Weatherford with his wife Beth. They are active in Central Christian Church. They love sports, family and have a passion for missions.
